Trudy von Trimmer is a gorgeous 2 year old long haired German Shepherd.  A dark coated beauty with red highlights, Trudy has stolen the hearts of volunteers and dogs alike. She is a gentle greeter with people, everyone feels her kind energy. We also enjoy watching the artful way she invites another dog to play. Trudy is quite popular with the doggy guys so if you're looking for a friend to cheer up your male at home, she is the girl! We don't know what happened, but somewhere in her past she had trauma to one eye. We do know that she is very sweet, blossoming before our eyes. She is a lovely, quiet presence at the rescue. She warms up readily and appreciates gentle pets on her head and scratches under her chin. She is definitely one to be your soul dog, she is kind and intuitive. This lovely lady is a dream to walk, naturally staying by your side. She is wonderful around other dogs, has a gentle play style, and would like another playful pup in the home. Trudy has also passed her cat testing.
